I am rejoiced to announce that our Alva’s English Medium High School (state syllabus) has fruitfully completed 5 years in pursuit of excellence in the field of education. The saga of marvelous growth and development of our school began in 2011 with a very small family of 99 students and 7 teachers. It is indeed a pleasure to note that today our school consists of around 2500 students, 85 teachers and 50 members of other staff. This amazing progress o f school can be attributed to the hard work and sincere dedication of the Management especially our beloved venerable Chairman Dr.M Mohan Alva and all the members of the faculty of the school.
We provide our students with a rigorous and innovative educational program in ambience that embraces diversity of people, cultures and ideas. At Alva’s we create a positive learning environment to give our students the possible opportunity to maximize their progress. The students are given an effective personal study plan as well as individual attention and continuous support throughout the academic year.
The lessons are largely based on a communicative approach and blended learning to maximize the study experience of the pupils and enhance the ability to become an independent learner who can face all types of competitive examinations and challenges of life. In addition to this he strives to imbibe the aesthetic sensibility among the students by conducting various cultural activities.
The management has left no stone unturned in providing quality education with state-of-the-art infrastructure and facilities for the students at a very reasonable cost. So far we have presented 5 batches of S.S.L.C and we received 100% result .We keep offering diverse co-curricular activities to our students which would increase their learning opportunities and also enrich their multiple intelligences. The students get ample motivation and opportunities both in School and Hostel throughout the academic year in Cultural, Scouts and Guides, Yoga, Literary programs, NCC, General Knowledge, IIT coaching, Spectacular performances, etc.
Each accomplishment becomes something we can stand on to reach higher no matter where we are in our success journey, it is important to remember that the joy is really is in the journey. In Alva’s Management, Parents, Students and Teaching Fraternity are a team and stay under same umbrella. The objectives of the Foundation are reflected in its deeds and in its truest sense of the prays “a school with a differences”.
